TOKYO, Japan - Suzuki Motor Corp. will launch on June 1 a large-scale scooter which it claims has the world's biggest engine capacity for an ordinary scooter. The Sky Wave 650 has an engine capacity of 638 cc compared with 600 cc for conventional scooters. Priced at 859,000 yen, it features gear shifts that can be alternated between manual and automatic.
